Will the New START agreement with Russia damage the special relationship between the U.S. and Great Britain?
Obama: Undermining Allies. by Thomas Sowell
While everyone’s attention seems to be focused on the crisis in Egypt, a bombshell revelation about the administration’s foreign policy in Europe has largely gone unnoticed.
The British newspaper The Telegraph has reported that part of the price which President Obama paid to get Russia to sign the START treaty, limiting nuclear arms, was revealing to the Russians the hitherto secret size of the British nuclear arsenal. This information came from the latest WikiLeaks documents.
To betray vital military secrets of this country’s oldest, most steadfast and most powerful ally, behind the back of the British government, is something that should set off alarm bells. Following in the wake of earlier betrayals of prior American commitments to put a nuclear shield in Eastern Europe, and the undermining of Israel and calculated insults to its prime minister, this pattern raises serious, and perhaps almost unthinkable, questions about the Obama administration’s foreign policy.
One of Barack Obama’s first acts as President of the United States was to fly to Russia and try to get a deal with the Russian government by welshing on an existing American commitment to put a nuclear shield in Eastern Europe.
Obama’s glib rhetoric about how he was pressing “the reset button” on American foreign policy treated the ongoing international commitments of the American government as something that each new administration is free to disregard.
Nations that ally themselves with the United States, and who cooperate in many ways to oppose the threat of international terrorism, do so at the risk of their own national safety and even survival. To make America’s reciprocal commitments to them contingent on the whims of each new administration is to make other nations have to think twice about allying themselves with the U.S.
Since the fight against international terrorism requires not only information about terrorist activities and networks from other countries’ intelligence services, but also cooperation from other countries’ financial institutions, in order to block terrorists’ transfers of money to finance their deadly activities.
This is in addition to other nations’ direct military involvement in the fight against terrorists in Afghanistan, Iraq and other places, current and prospective– not to mention providing military access through their lands when needed.
But doing such things invites retaliation from the terrorists and from the leading international sponsor of terrorism, Iran, which may in a very few years have nuclear weapons.
Glib talk about setting the reset button on American foreign policy raises the question whether any alliance with the United States can be relied on beyond the term of a particular administration. To nations that have to think in terms of their own national survival, four years is a very short time.
It is also a very short time in the life of the United States of America. To alienate our allies and embolden our enemies because of one administration is a dangerous gamble in an international jungle where nuclear bombs may soon be in the hands of some of the most reckless nations on the planet.
The Obama administration’s response to the current crisis in Egypt likewise threatens to make being an ally of the United States less attractive.
Whatever the merits or demerits of the advice that Barack Obama has been giving Hosni Mubarak, for the President of the United States to be publicly lecturing the president of another sovereign nation on almost a daily basis insults that nation, not just its leader.
Even in the worst days of the dictatorship in the Soviet Union, neither Stalin nor his successors publicly told the leaders of the satellite nations in Eastern Europe what to do. There is no question that Eastern European leaders were puppets of the Soviet Union, but Soviet leaders had the good sense not to say so to the whole world. Yet Obama makes allies look like they are puppets.
Countries like Egypt, that have once lived under colonial rule, are especially resentful of being publicly lectured by Western nations. Nor will the Obama administration’s lecturing of Egypt endear us to other nations contemplating the down side of being an ally of the United States.weapons.

CAIR should be shut down, disbanded, defunded, declared an enemy of the state as it is a despotic Anti-American organization with a radical and dangerous agenda. It’s ranks have numerous individuals with terrorist ties, it’s goals are cunning and nefarious, and in reality it is simply nothing more than a giant sleeper cell with a highly deceptive cover. So in this rare case we support Schumer as we do for everyone else they target, and futher we stand with Israel as well as the Gaza blockade.
CAIR Seeks to Censor Criticism of Terrorism

The Center for Security Policy condemns CAIR’s campaign season attacks on candidates
The Center for Security Policy has released the results of an investigation of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) that reveals a clear pattern of intimidation to silence 2010 candidates and public figures who discuss jihad, Shariah and Islamic terrorism.
CAIR’s most recent attempt to intimidate Senator Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., shows their commitment to censoring any criticism of the terrorist organization Hamas.
On June 14, CAIR accused Schumer of making statements that were “unconscionable, reprehensible and in blatant disregard for the sanctity of human life,” and demanded he retract them. Here’s what Schumer said on June 9 :
The boycott of Gaza to me has another purpose— obviously the first purpose is to prevent Hamas from getting weapons by which they will use to hurt Israel— but the second is actually to show the Palestinians that when there’s some moderation and cooperation, they can have an economic advancement. When there’s total war against Israel, which Hamas wages, they’re going to get nowhere. And to me, since the Palestinians in Gaza elected Hamas, while certainly there should be humanitarian aid and people not starving to death, to strangle them economically until they see that’s not the way to go, makes sense.
CAIR’s recent defense of Hamas is part of a consistent pattern. In 1994, the year of CAIR’s founding, Executive Director Nihad Awad stated, “I am in support of the Hamas movement.”
In 2007 CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in U.S. v. Holy Land Foundation, the largest terrorism funding case in American history in which defendants were convicted of funneling millions of dollars to Hamas. In January 2009, Fox News reported that the FBI was “severing its once-close ties” with CAIR amid “mounting evidence that it has links to a support network for Hamas.”
CSP’s investigation into CAIR’s intimidation and Summer of Censorship Campaign has revealed at least six cases of attempted political coercion since May:
Called for the exclusion of the Reverend Franklin Graham from prayer services at the Pentagon and Capitol Hill
Pressured GOP leaders to condemn the TV ads of Florida congressional candidate Dan Fanelli as “racist and Islamophobic”
Demanded a probe of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) for signs of “Islamophobic training”
Urged GOP leaders to condemn statements made by Connecticut congressional candidate as “racist” and “Islamophobic”
Intimidated organizers of the Tennessee Tea Party Convention and Representative Steve King, R-Iowa, to exclude prominent author, blogger and non-profit executive director Pamela Geller
Accused Schumer of “blatant disregard for the sanctity of human life” for supporting the Israeli blockade of weapons to the Hamas regime in Gaza.
CAIR is paid by foreign groups, acts as their foreign agent in the U.S., and attempts to censor U.S. citizens who criticize Hamas, terrorism or apartheid Shariah doctrines.
We urge CAIR to register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). A failure to register could subject them to criminal or civil penalties under the law.
The center has reported all of these cases to the Foreign Agents Registration Unit of the Department of Justice.
For full report on CAIR’s 2010 summer of censorship campaign go here.
For full documentation on CAIR’s actions relevant to the Foreign Agents Registration Act, go here.
The center, and a growing number of national security experts, have concluded based on overwhelming evidence that CAIR should register under FARA and report their activities as a foreign agent to the American public.
The Gaza Flotilla incident, which would really be more aptly called the Hamas Flotilla incident, needs to be viewed from a wider perspective to be more fully understood and appreciated for what it represents – A Marxist-Progressive Jihad on Israel, and by proxy, the United States, wherein the American Progressive Left is engaged in an open and working relationship with Islamist radicals.
The Hamas Flotilla action was not an isolated event. It was but the latest in a carefully programmed series of actions that have been taking place since Hamas took over the Gaza Strip in a violent coup in 2007, designed by community organizations that have been operating in the region since at least the mid-1990s.
The umbrella organization of this recent series of actions is called the Free Gaza Movement, and represents several international organizations, as well as many prominent American Progressive organizations.
The Center for Economic and Social Rights (CESR) has been organizing on the ground in Palestinian territories since 1996.
One of the mainstream Progressive organizations that has pledged its support to this anti-Israel movement is the Progressive Democrats of America, a group organized by Rep. Maxine Waters, Rep. Lynn Woolsey, Rep. Barbara Lee, Rep. John Conyers, Rep. Donna Edwards, Tom Hayden (founder of SDS), and Medea Benjamin and Jodie Evans of Global Exchange/CodePink.
The Progressive Democrats of America are but one in a slew of mainstream American Progressive groups taking part in these actions against Israel on behalf of Hamas.
Another Progressive organization whose board members are helping Hamas with this program of actions is the Movement for a Democratic Society, or (MDS). Their members include a who’s who of 1960s domestic radicalism.
One very notable celebrity supporter and on-the-ground participant in these actions is Author Alice Walker (Color Purple). She’s so notable, in fact, that President Obama continues to prominently stream from his Presidential YouTube channel her impassioned and detailed 2008 presidential campaign endorsement-commercial. If you are a fan of irony, you will really love the 2:58 minute mark of the Alice Walker video below:
When America elected President Barack Obama, more than anything else, they were getting a community organizer. Given that he marketed himself on this particular credential, this is not at all a racist slander (as some have suggested of any criticism of his Presidency), but merely an empirical observation.
Until Barack Obama ran for the Presidency, most people didn’t have the faintest clue as to what a community organizer was, let alone the name of one of their groups. That made it very difficult for most people to understand the choice they were making when they pulled the lever for Barack Obama. It didn’t help that the mainstream media in this country had neither the will nor the skill to educate the American public about community organizing beyond an altruistic and sterilized fairytale of selfless volunteerism.
These are the days of Google, however, and with a little bit of time and curiosity (something absent in alleged news organizations like Tribune), anyone can answer for themselves such questions as: who organized the Gaza-Hamas flotilla? Or, who organized the bank protests? Or, who organized the violent protests during the 2008 Republican National Convention? Or, who organized the violent protests in Seattle during the 1999 meeting of the World Trade Organization? Or, who organized all those Jihad photo-ops of children throwing rocks at tanks?
In each and every single case mentioned above, the answers to those questions lead to the same core group of people in the American social organizing community. They are easy to identify and their motives are clear because they frequently write openly about what they are doing.
If the people of the United States are to understand the presidency of Barack Obama and today’s Progressive-controlled Democrat party, they can only do so by knowing and trying to understand the American/global community organizing industry. There are several community organizing mega-corporations in America, and they each have their key players.
This article will attempt, in very basic terms, to offer a foundational knowledge of these groups, their leaders, and their actions. Hopefully this information will aid people’s understanding of incidents like the Gaza Flotilla, as well as the actions and programs that have come before it – and that will surely follow.
BACKGROUND: Founded by Medea Benjamin and her husband Kevin Danaher, Global Exchange has launched several entities over the years, including CodePink, but more notably, United for Peace and Justice (UFPJ).
UFPJ was the umbrella organization for almost ALL of the large scale “anti-war” marches that unfolded in America. They are also responsible for the protests that took place in Denver and St. Paul during the Democrat and Republican conventions.
The US Campaign to End Israeli Occupation is the Grand Central Station of US Marxist Progressive community organizing directed against Israel. We shall return to that in a moment.
Through the US Campaign To End Israeli Occupation, Global Exchange and CodePink staged the Gaza Freedom March and the Flotilla. Many notable people and groups either supported or took part in this action. Among them, the Progressive Democrats of America, Author Alice Walker (Color Purple), Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn.
It is also worthwhile to mention that Van Jones, former Obama Green Jobs Czar, sits on the board of Global Citizen Center, Global Exchange’s environmental organization.
So let us take a moment to acquaint ourselves with the motive power behind these various entities. Here is a video of Medea Benjamin at a Gaza border check point. Be sure to catch the part at the front where she openly talks about her working relationship with the Hamas terrorist government of Gaza.
GROUP: Alliance of Community Trainers (ACT) & Root Activist Network Trainers (RANT)
CAMPAIGNS/ORGS: US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation, 1999 Seattle WTO Protests, 2004 Republican Convention Protests in NYC, 2008 DNC/RNC Convention protests
Their specialty appears to be ‘direct action’ protests designed to cause significant confrontation. Together with UFPJ and the IWW (Industrial Workers of the World), they organized the Anarchy movement and made it a key component of their street confrontations with police in Seattle, St. Paul, and elsewhere.
RANT has been a member of the UFPJ Steering Committee since its inception.
Co-founder Starhawk took part in CodePink’s Gaza actions in 2009/2010
Co-founder Starhawk is a board member of the radical Movement for a Democratic Society.
GROUP: International Solidarity Movement (ISM)
CAMPAIGNS/ORGS: UFPJ (Steering Committee), US Campaign To End Israeli Occupation.
BACKGROUND: Founded in 2001 by Huwaida Arraf and her husband Adam Shapiro as an international component to US Campaign To End Israeli Occupation, among ISM’s chief tasks is to organize Americans and other Westerners to go serve as human shields in places like Iraq and Israel.
“Palestinian resistance must take on a variety of characteristics, both violent and nonviolent. But most importantly, it must develop a strategy involving both aspects. Nonviolent resistance is no less noble than carrying out a suicide operation.”
For a disturbing look inside the US recruiting program of the ISM, read the article at FrontPage Mag entitled Solidarity With Terror.
ISM gained notoriety back in 2003 when one of its organizers, Rachel Corrie, was killed by an Israeli bulldozer. According to Israel, she was accidentally killed while they were destroying smuggling tunnels leading from Egypt into Gaza. According to the Organizing Industry, the Israeli Bulldozer ran her over on purpose. Either way, Rachel Corrie is dead and now the ISM names their boats after her.
The sea vessel Rachel Corrie was last seen attempting to run Israel’s blockade of Hamastan, in the ISM-orchestrated Free Gaza Flotilla. The Flotilla was merely the latest in a series of Actions run under the Free Gaza program.
ISM also organized people on the ground at the Democrat and Republican party conventions in 2008.
GROUP: Interreligious Foundation for Community Organization (IFCO)
CAMPAIGNS/ORGS: Organizing trips to Cuba, US Campaign To End Israeli Occupation
BACKGROUND: Founded in 1967, they have been dedicated to busting the US blockade/sanctions against Cuba. Their contemporary claim to fame is coordinating congressional visits to Cuba. From their website:
2000: Reps. Maxine Waters (D-CA) and Barbara Lee (D-CA) traveled to Cuba in a February delegation organized by IFCO. They cut the ribbon at the opening of the first-ever US-Cuba Medical Trade Fair. They dedicated the trade fair to Elián González and all the Cuban children who were deprived of medicines because of the US economic blockade.
The second official delegation of the Congressional Black Caucus, organized by IFCO, visited Cuba in May-June 2000.
Most recently, IFCO has coordinated funds for the American arm of Viva Palestina, the George Galloway component of the Free Gaza Movement.
GROUP: Center for Economic and Social Rights
CAMPAIGNS/ORGS: Research/Education (Propaganda) related to the Palestinian Territories. US Campaign To End Israeli Occupation.
BACKGROUND: Founded in 1993 by Roger Normand, Sarah Zaidi and Chris Jochnick, this group works with the Jihadis to produce research that they then use for propaganda educational tours in America and elsewhere. They also handle fundraising for the umbrella group US Campaign To End Israeli Occupation.
Since 2001, together with Global Exchange and their other partners under the US Campaign To End Israeli Occupation, they have organized many direct action campaigns against Israel, the latest being the Free Gaza Movement in all of its incarnations.
BACKGROUND: Founded by former 60s radicals Heather and Paul Booth as Illinois Public Action Council, it eventually grew into a national network called Citizen Action. The national organization folded after numerous scandals including Teamstergate, and a multi-million dollar embezzlement conviction against Obama campaign organizerBob Creamer, then Citizen Action treasurer. Most of the locals renamed and reorganized under the new national banner of USAction.
During the Clinton administration, Heather Booth was hired to coordinate organizing for the DNC.
President Obama’s now deceased Doctor Quentin Young (regarded as the godfather of Obamacare) was an important member of Illinois Citizen Action.
In 2008-2010, USAction used HCAN (Healthcare for America Now) to stage rallies to spearhead the successful effort to push the health care bill through congress.
CAMPAIGNS/ORGS: Running 3rd party and fusion candidates in targeted races.
BACKGROUND: The Progressive movement – not unlike the Libertarian movement – felt locked out of a one party system masquerading as a 2 party system. They set out to take control of the Democrat partywhere they couldn’t defeat it outright.
The New Party collapsed in the 1990s when they lost a Supreme Court case involving the backbone of their strategy, fusion voting. They re-organized as the Working Families Party, and boast such prominent members as Hillary Clinton, Elliot Spitzer, and John Edwards.
If you look at the list of New Party members, you will see that a large number of them are involved in the Gaza actions against Israel, as outlined above.

From storming banks and personal property, to rioting in Seattle and St. Paul, to Palestinian children throwing stones at tanks in Israel, the groups listed above (among others) are the community organizers responsible for most of it.
These groups and their leaders are openlyMarxist and virulently opposed to Capitalism.
Consistent with their worldview that all means are justified by their ends, they have intentionally organized Anarchists into their movements.
Consistent with their worldview that Capitalist America is the evil empire and Israel is her colony built on land stolen from indigenous peoples, they have organized the Jihadis. They hide behind the language of human rights and justice, but their bias is betrayed by the complete lack of honesty when it comes to representing the narrative of that region. Absent from their movement is any mention of the word Hamas. Search their English websites and you will be hard pressed to find a single mention of the Iran-supported terrorist government of Gaza, Hamastan. It is as if Hamas has gone missing. Come to think of it, there isn’t much mention of Jihad either. Or Sharia, Or Dhimmitude.
Their thin cloak of human rights legitimacy is torn to shreds when their tactics include weapon wielding ‘peace activists’ invoking ‘death to the Jews’:
The Marxists explain that the only reason the terrorist groups gain traction is because outside Western empire powers stole that land for the Jews, who have turned it into a militarized apartheid state. They fail to mention that within the concepts of Sharia and Dhimmitude, Jewish self-determination has been a non-starter for the Arabs since day one. Also, no mention of the repeated and relentless stream of Jihad terrorist attacks against innocent men, women, and children, guilty of nothing more than being Jews, and who were hoping only for the dignity of self-determination on one tiny shred of their ancestral homeland, among a sea of Sharia states demanding dhimmitude for ‘peace’. Also, no mention of the Palestinian involvement in the Holocaust. Nope. Just racist-evil-maniacal Israel – colony of America.
The Marxists and their Islamist clients like to say that it is all about the occupation. This has nothing to do with occupation. This decades-long Jihad against the Jews began long before the occupation. Long before the Holocaust.
The Jews, who by chronological logic were there first, are the tiniest minority in an ocean of Muslim countries. All they want is to have one small piece of their birthplace and to be safe there, but the bigotry of dhimmitude will not allow it. Never has, never will.
And the Marxists have fooled the world into thinking the Israelis are maniacal aggressors beating up on innocent defenseless Muslims.
Some of the President’s closest friends and financial supporters are admittedly working with and supporting Jihad terrorists in an effort to defeat the Little Satan – Israel. Are we supposed to assume that they will stop there? Or will they work together to also defeat the Great Satan?
In light of the fact that all problems are solved in the United States and our debt and spending are under control, President Obama yesterday pledged $400 million in U.S. aid to the Palestinian territories. The money was pledged during a meeting between Obama and Mahmoud Abbas.Obama said he would not meet with the CEO of BP because “he’s going to say all the right things to me, I’m not interested in words, I’m interested in actions,” so it’s nice to see him have such confidence in Abbas to be honest and forthright in his ultimately successful attempt to get his hands on hundreds of millions of American taxpayer dollars.
Cassy Fiano calls it a “terrorist stimulus package,” and if it is, the only reason for optimism is the hope that a terrorist stimulus will work as well as the stimulus package. If Sheriff Biden is in charge of making sure the aid works as intended, Abbas is screwed.
But remember, the $400 million is just a “down payment”:
“The Obama administration’s promise of aid includes money to increase access to clean drinking water, create jobs and build schools and affordable housing. State Department officials called the projects “a down payment” on the U.S. commitment to improving life in Gaza.”
“Last year, U.S. officials pledged a total of $900 million for Gaza and the West Bank, but acknowledged the difficulty of distributing the funds, especially because Hamas controls Gaza and is considered a terrorist organization. The aid announced Wednesday may be distributed through organizations performing relief work, State Department officials said.”
Check what Congressman Mike Pence of Indiana said on the floor of the House:
The silence continues to be deafening with no Democrat in Congress, to my knowledge, crying out against President Obama for continuing to try to diminish the U.S.’ closeness to Israel.
The president is apparently attempting to placate the Sunni Muslim countries in order to establish a coalition opposed to the increasing power of the Shiite Muslim state of Iran that towers in the region like a colossus. The president fails to realize, however, that sacrificing the U.S.-Israel relationship is both unnecessary and dangerous.
The Sunni Arab countries are petrified of Iran’s growing power and are actually aligned with Israel in their opposition to Iran. Furthermore, I have stated before, treating Israel as the problem only emboldens the radical elements in the Middle East and makes the prospect of another Arab-Israeli war more likely.
Only through steadfast U.S. support of Israel will the Arab countries realize that the Jewish state is here to stay. That, in turn, will lead to peace.
While the president continues to hammer Israel, the Iranian nuclear threat increases by the day. The Times reported today “that Mr. Gates had warned in a secret three-page memo that the United States did not have an effective long-range policy for dealing with Iran’s steady progress toward nuclear capability.”
Our efforts to assemble the needed coalition of nations to impose meaningful sanctions against Iran at the Security Council have failed. Furthermore, today’s New York Times reports on the efforts of the Obama administration to woo American Muslims with the headline “White House Quietly Courts Muslims In the U.S.”
What have the Senate and House done to convey to the president their differences with him on these issues and the outrageous treatment accorded our long-time ally, Israel? They issued joint letters.
The House letter was signed by 333 members and the Senate letter was signed by 76 senators. The letters were addressed to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, when I believe they should have been sent to the president directly, since it is he, not she, who is orchestrating the change in the standing of Israel and the elevation of Arab interests.
The letters consist of a platitudinous statement of why the U.S. and Israel are allies, but do not criticize the president or convey to him that Congress will oppose his efforts to change the U.S.-Israel relationship.
Even more shocking is that some key senators were unwilling even to sign the toothless letter. One can only speculate why the following senators declined to sign — John Kerry, D-Mass., Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee; Christopher Dodd, D-Conn., Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee; Dick Durbin, D-Ill., Democratic Party Whip; Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee; Harry Reid, D-Nev., Senate Majority Leader, and others.
Was it due to agreement with the president’s plan? Was it fear of the president? I suspect agreement.
There are those, when asked what they are doing to challenge and defeat the president’s actions with regard to these grave matters, who have answered, “I am working behind the scenes.” Those corridors must be heavily crowded and those hidden efforts do not appear to have produced results. I repeat, the silence is deafening.

New York politicians rip into Arizona immigration law
A stringent new Arizona law aimed at identifying and prosecuting illegal immigrants drew harsh criticism Saturday from New York politicians and activists.
“We do need comprehensive immigration law in this country but not like this,” said Sen. Chuck Schumer.
On Friday, Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer signed a bill into law making failure to carry proof of citizenship or legal status a crime, and any immigrants who can’t produce the documentation can be arrested, and jailed for up to six months. Critics fear it would give cops free reign to harass the state’s Hispanic population.
Mayor Bloomberg said the law, which takes effect in August, could hurt the country financially because it “sends exactly the wrong message” to international companies and travelers.
Public Advocate Bill de Blasio deemed it “un-American” legislation that “does nothing to address the pressing problems of our broken immigration system.”
SHAKY, IT’S FAR WORSE THAN THAT. BUT THATS OK, YOU FOOLS IN STATE GOVERNMENT JUST KEEP ON SPENDING AND RESIST ALL CUTS, OK.
New York state is on track to run out of money in June and will almost certainly end the months of May, June, July and August with a negative balance, according to Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli and state budget officials. One of our most basic American foundations - Authority comes from God:

President Calvin Coolidge
"To live under the American Constitution is the greatest political privilege that was ever accorded to the human race."
"In a free republic a great government is the product of a great people. They will look to themselves rather than government for success. The destiny, the greatness of America lies around the hearthstone. If thrift and industry are taught there, and the example of self-sacrifice oft appears, if honor abide there, and high ideals, if there the building of fortune be subordinate to the building of character, America will live in security, rejoicing in an abundant prosperity and good government at home and in peace, respect, and confidence abroad. If these virtues be absent there is no power that can supply these blessings. Look well then to the hearthstone, therein all hope for America lies."

The ideal political-economic system is laissez-faire capitalism. It is a system where men deal with one another, not as victims and executioners, nor as masters and slaves, but as traders, by free, voluntary exchange to mutual benefit. It is a system where no man may obtain any values from others by resorting to physical force, and no man may initiate the use of physical force against others. The government acts only as a policeman that protects man’s rights; it uses physical force only in retaliation and only against those who initiate its use, such as criminals or foreign invaders. In a system of full capitalism, there should be (but, historically, has not yet been) a complete separation of state and economics, in the same way and for the same reasons as the separation of state and church. - Ayn Rand
