The OneNation March: November’s Choices Are Clearer Than Ever

They came, they preached Marx, they trashed D.C., disrespected WWII vets (yes, those are SEIU signs), attacked Tea Parties as ‘insidious’ and ‘villainous,’ and they showed the rest of America what vile contempt they have for the Land of the Free. By all accounts, it was a success. For they were finally able to take their masks off-how liberating.

From the Left’s point of view, they are now completely, unabashedly out in the open. There’s no more hiding behind bromides and phony feel-good names, the Left has now unmasked itself. Socialists, Communists, labor unions, liberals, progressives and other assorted riff-raff.why, they are all, undisputedly, one big, incestuously happy family now. Congratulations!

And, for them, there is no going back into the closet, no turning back: We’re socialists and we’re proud.

Video; One ‘Socialist’ Nation Rally – 10/02

Written by TomT on Oct 03, 2010 08:15 pm

The ‘One Nation’ Rally, a response to Glenn Beck’s ‘Restoring Honor Rally’, was held at our nation’s Capital yesterday. As detailed in the first video below, it seems yesterday’s event should have been titled the ‘One Socialist Nation Rally’. Why is it that Liberal Democrats are so accepting of socialists and communists, do these values reflect what most Democrats stand for? Or, does the militant nature of these groups give rank and file Democrats little choice in the matter? More importantly, does Saturday’s ‘One Nation Rally’ reflect the nation you know? And, just how prevailant are the Socialists, Marxists and Communists in America? Questions that may be of more importance than you realize… Read More

Byron York – At ‘One Nation’ rally, a unionized show of unity

The union presence was so ubiquitous and so organized that it made for a kind of color coding in the crowd. Looking around, there were large groups of people bunched into separate areas, all wearing the same color T-shirts to mark their union affiliation. There were groups wearing the purple SEIU shirt, others wearing the red CWA shirt, others wearing the blue AFT shirt, and still others wearing green shirts and yellow shirts and so on. There were long rows of tables where union workers sat waiting to get people connected to their groups and their buses. There were thousands of union-printed signs.

Organizers will deny that the march was a total union job, compared to the more grassroots character of tea party gatherings. And it’s true that union allies like the NAACP also played a big part in staging “One Nation Working Together.” But it’s safe to say the rally would have been nothing without labor’s money and organizing strength..

Neo-Communist Naomi Klein Build a “Real Left”

There are two kinds of leftists in the world: those who tell the truth about what they want to do and those who are smart enough lie. Barack Obama falls into this latter category. Embracing the tactics of Saul Alinsky, he’s going to destroy the system from within slowly. He’s going to drag America into …

Facing a tough election season? Not to worry. There’s a left-wing billionaire for that. Several, in fact. Washington D.C. is bracing for a moonbat invasion. Tomorrow, Saturday, October 2nd, progressive groups of all stripes will converge in the nation’s capital for the One Nation Working Together (ONWT) march. Why Do Progressives Defend Communists and Terrorists?

As incredible as it may seem, the giant labor federation, the AFL-CIO, used to be run by a staunch anti-communist. George Meany had his disagreements with conservatives on domestic issues but he mostly agreed with them on foreign policy. Indeed, Meany was so anti-communist that he was dubbed a “right-winger” by liberals in the media. He criticized détente with the Soviet Union. The last refuge of a liberal

September 24, 2010 Leave a comment

By Charles Krauthammer Friday, August 27, 2010

Liberalism under siege is an ugly sight indeed. Just yesterday it was all hope and change and returning power to the people. But the people have proved so disappointing. Their recalcitrance has, in only 19 months, turned the predicted 40-year liberal ascendancy (James Carville) into a full retreat. Ah, the people, the little people, the small-town people, the “bitter” people, as Barack Obama in an unguarded moment once memorably called them, clinging “to guns or religion or” — this part is less remembered — “antipathy toward people who aren’t like them.”

That’s a polite way of saying: clinging to bigotry. And promiscuous charges of bigotry are precisely how our current rulers and their vast media auxiliary react to an obstreperous citizenry that insists on incorrect thinking.

– Resistance to the vast expansion of government power, intrusiveness and debt, as represented by the Tea Party movement? Why, racist resentment toward a black president.

– Disgust and alarm with the federal government’s unwillingness to curb illegal immigration, as crystallized in the Arizona law? Nativism.

– Opposition to the most radical redefinition of marriage in human history, as expressed in Proposition 8 in California? Homophobia.

– Opposition to a 15-story Islamic center and mosque near Ground Zero? Islamophobia.

Now we know why the country has become “ungovernable,” last year’s excuse for the Democrats’ failure of governance: Who can possibly govern a nation of racist, nativist, homophobic Islamophobes?

Note what connects these issues. In every one, liberals have lost the argument in the court of public opinion. Majorities — often lopsided majorities — oppose President Obama’s social-democratic agenda (e.g., the stimulus, Obamacare), support the Arizona law, oppose gay marriage and reject a mosque near Ground Zero.

What’s a liberal to do? Pull out the bigotry charge, the trump that preempts debate and gives no credit to the seriousness and substance of the contrary argument. The most venerable of these trumps is, of course, the race card. When the Tea Party arose, a spontaneous, leaderless and perfectly natural (and traditionally American) reaction to the vast expansion of government intrinsic to the president’s proudly proclaimed transformational agenda, the liberal commentariat cast it as a mob of angry white yahoos disguising their antipathy to a black president by cleverly speaking in economic terms.

Then came Arizona and S.B. 1070. It seems impossible for the left to believe that people of good will could hold that: (a) illegal immigration should be illegal, (b) the federal government should not hold border enforcement hostage to comprehensive reform, i.e., amnesty, (c) every country has the right to determine the composition of its immigrant population.

As for Proposition 8, is it so hard to see why people might believe that a single judge overturning the will of 7 million voters is an affront to democracy? And that seeing merit in retaining the structure of the most ancient and fundamental of all social institutions is something other than an alleged hatred of gays — particularly since the opposite-gender requirement has characterized virtually every society in all the millennia until just a few years ago?

And now the mosque near Ground Zero. The intelligentsia is near unanimous that the only possible grounds for opposition is bigotry toward Muslims. This smug attribution of bigotry to two-thirds of the population hinges on the insistence on a complete lack of connection between Islam and radical Islam, a proposition that dovetails perfectly with the Obama administration’s pretense that we are at war with nothing more than “violent extremists” of inscrutable motive and indiscernible belief. Those who reject this as both ridiculous and politically correct (an admitted redundancy) are declared Islamophobes, the ad hominem du jour.

It is a measure of the corruption of liberal thought and the collapse of its self-confidence that, finding itself so widely repudiated, it resorts reflexively to the cheapest race-baiting (in a colorful variety of forms). Indeed, how can one reason with a nation of pitchfork-wielding mobs brimming with “antipathy toward people who aren’t like them” — blacks, Hispanics, gays and Muslims — a nation that is, as Michelle Obama once put it succinctly, “just downright mean”?

The Democrats are going to get beaten badly in November. Not just because the economy is ailing. And not just because Obama over-read his mandate in governing too far left. But because a comeuppance is due the arrogant elites whose undisguised contempt for the great unwashed prevents them from conceding a modicum of serious thought to those who dare oppose them.

Democrats’ Race-Baiting Boomerangs

By: Ronald Kessler

The election of a black president was supposed to mark a turning point in American race relations. It has — in the wrong direction.

Everywhere we turn, Democrats are using race as a cudgel to try to intimidate voters. Their message is that, if you disagree with President Barack Obama or hold conservative beliefs, you are a racist.

Thus, the Atlanta-Journal Constitution’s Cynthia Tucker told Chris Matthews on MSNBC that one reason Republicans have a strong advantage going into the midterm elections is that “Obama’s election has suddenly made many white Americans aware of the loss of a white majority.”

New York Times columnist Frank Rich claimed opponents of Obama’s healthcare legislation are motivated in part by the election of a black president who sows “fears of disenfranchisement among a dwindling and threatened minority in the country.” The Washington Post’s Colbert King called tea party activists forerunners of the southern segregationists who tried to block blacks from attending the University of Alabama in 1956.

“All of a sudden, we have a black man elected president and everybody wants to start acting like something’s wrong with our country,” Rep. Mike Turner of Nashville, chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, has said.

Never mind that the 53 percent of American voters who elected Obama presumably were aware of his race. Never mind that Southern segregationists in Congress who opposed civil rights legislation were nearly all Democrats. Never mind that, rather than fearing they will be in the minority, growing numbers of white voters fear that Obama’s policies are weakening the country both economically and from a national security standpoint.

Although Obama himself has steered clear of race-baiting, he betrayed a chip on his shoulder by saying that, even though he did not know all the facts, Cambridge police acted “stupidly” when they arrested a black Harvard professor who was being obstreperous during an investigation of a possible break-in at his home. Moreover, for 20 years, Obama listened to the anti-white racist ravings of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., whom he called his mentor, sounding board, and friend.

In a revealing posting on JournoList, a private online community for liberal journalists, one writer proposed a way to distract conservatives from the campaign controversy surrounding Wright.

“If the right forces us all to either defend Wright or tear him down, no matter what we choose, we lose the game they’ve put upon us,” Spencer Ackerman wrote. “Instead, take one of them — Fred Barnes, Karl Rove, who cares — and call them racists.”

To those of us who have exposed genuine discrimination against blacks, what is heartbreaking about all this is how it is setting back race relations by bringing race to the fore. If this were a truly colorblind society, no one would mention race or think about it. Instead, Democrats have turned back the clock to the 1960s, when the first thing we thought about when seeing a black man was the color of his skin. Now the first thought that may come to mind is: Is this person going to turn on me because of some misperception that I am a racist? If so, the safest course is to keep that individual at arm’s length.

Democrats reserve their most hurtful racist-tinged accusations for blacks who disagree with them. Black Democrats have called blacks who express conservative views such as Justice Clarence Thomas, Juan Williams, and Bill Cosby Uncle Toms and sellouts.

Ron Miller, whose book “Sellout: Musings from Uncle Tom’s Porch” just came out, has experienced this and more. Miller is a black conservative who runs a website called Regular Folks United. At age 19, he realized that his values emphasizing personal responsibility rather than government handouts did not comport with Democrats’ world view. As a result, he became a Republican.

He writes in his book that the “only thing the Democrats do for us [blacks] is keep race at the forefront of our minds and promote race-based policies, which stoke our egos but really don’t make our lives better.” Although blacks perceive Democrats’ policies as “caring,” they are “really just keeping us angry and frozen in time so we’ll continue to keep them in power,” Miller writes.

In the end, the Democrats’ approach will backfire. No one likes being called a racist. Rather than intimidating Americans, that tactic will only create resentment and persuade more voters that Democrats must be defeated in November.

Evil Democrat Paradigms

September 13, 2010 Leave a comment

September 12, 2010

By Lloyd MarcusSeptember 12, 2010

Here are two paradigms which evil, divisive Democrats have shamefully promoted and exploited for years: one, white men are burning the midnight oil thinking of ways to keep blacks down; and two, all rich white people are selfish, evil, and deserving of punishment.

No Democrat president has sold the “you have too little because the rich have too much” message better than Barack Obama, which led to angry protesters picketing the homes of corporate executives. Democrats are masters at creating a hated “bad guy” to further their agenda.

As a black man, I wish to share a few of my life experiences which crush the paradigm that all whites are committed to keeping blacks down.

When I was 15, I wanted to attend art college on weekends. I wrote a letter to my (white) senator. When I arrived home from school one day, my mom said our senator stopped by, saw the sign I was painting for our teen dance, and decided to give me a scholarship.

I wrote a letter to then-Baltimore mayor William Donald Schaeffer for a scholarship. Imagine this nervous 15-year-old black kid from the ghetto, dressed in my Sunday best and my artwork between two pieces of cardboard as a portfolio, sitting in the mayor’s huge office. My artwork was spread over his massive carved oak desk. Schaeffer was kind and easy to talk to. He became annoyed by interruptions and instructed his secretary to hold his calls. We talked for an hour or so. A few weeks later, I received a scholarship to the Maryland Institute College of Art.

When I was a young man in the U.S. Army stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC, my pregnant wife and I were seeking a loan. The clerk said we needed a co-signer. A (white) captain, overhearing the conversation, said, “I’ll co-sign for you!” I said, “But sir, you don’t even know me.” He replied, “You seem like a nice enough feller.”

After college, I went job hunting for a position as a graphic designer. Upon viewing my portfolio, (white) businessman John Halechak did not offer me a job. Instantly, he gave me office space, a room in a high-rent office building, to start my own business.

So there you have it: a few personal anecdotes that are also antidotes to the Democrat narrative that white America tries to keep us blacks down and in our place.

As for the Democrats’ relentless attacks and insistence that we hate the rich, had Mr. Halechak not been well-off, he would not have been in a position to help me. Still, Democrats want to, as Obama said, “spread the wealth around” — which really means redistribution of other peoples’ hard-earned money. Then we will all be equally just barely getting by.

U.S. unemployment has risen to a postwar historical high, and our economy is diving downward. The Obama administration could turn things around by simply creating a friendlier atmosphere towards business and not raising taxes. Economics 101 says that the higher you tax an activity, the less people will indulge in that activity. Reagan proved that lowering taxes generates more activity, which generates more revenue for the government.

Obama and company are locked in their paradigm that the rich are selfish SOBs deserving of punishment. Obama plans to end the Bush tax cuts, spinning that they benefit only the rich.

A tax cut across the board for all Americans would tremendously boost our economy. Unfortunately, the Democrats’ insane hatred, demonization, and jealousy of the rich compels them to sink the entire ship of America rather than save one rich person.

These two evil Democrat-promoted paradigms — white men oppose black success and the rich are SOBs — are deeply ingrained in the psyche of many Americans.

However, I learned years ago, while serving in the U.S. Army, that good people and jerks come in all colors.

As for hating the rich, the Bible says, “Thou shall not covet.” With the exception of a few Ted Kennedys and John Kerrys in this world, most of the rich worked hard to get to where they are. Rather than hating them, I want to learn from them.

Once, a dear friend was in danger of losing his home. I was not in a financial position to help. All of my sympathy and good intentions could not help him — he needed cash. Wealth is a very good thing.

The Left’s Ludicrous Accusations against Tea Partiers

By James Simpson

Forgive the obscene photo of “Politically Incorrect” show host Bill Maher, but it serves as a stark visual testimonial to the Left’s true nature. Every day, the Left shows us with their own actions that they are exactly what they accuse conservatives and tea partiers of being.
It is astonishing that they have the gall to accuse anyone of anything. People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. But then we remember that the smear and the lie are all they have. As a post at Powerline relates, “It is liberals, not conservatives, who rely on ad hominem attacks, outrageous allegations and violent imagery.” The accusations of racism and threats of violence put forth by congressional Democrats since Saturday are straight out of the Alinsky playbook…..

The Abolition of the Family

By Larrey Anderson

America is headed down an extremely dangerous path to a potential catastrophe that is rarely discussed. It is the eradication of the family.
Abolition of the family! … The bourgeois family will disappear, in the course [of history] as its supplement [private property] disappears, and both will vanish with the destruction of capital.
 - The Communist Manifesto
, Chapter 2, Karl Marx & Friedrich Engels. (My translation.)
The top priority of Marxism was the abolition of the family; Marx laid down the strategy for its destruction. His thesis was simple: Eliminate capital — exterminate the family [i]. More and more empirical evidence is piling up to show that this is exactly what is happening in America…..

Election Theft Underway in Wisconsin

By Thomas Lifson

More evidence the Obama Democrats are playing by Chicago rules, and rapidly altering the nature of our political regime. Nancy Pelosi’s strong arm legislative tactics have metastasized to the state level in Wisconsin.
According to a Republican Wisconsin state senator, Democrats there plan to change the election rules in November with inadequate scrutiny. In other words, a stealth attack on the integrity of the electoral process. Like ObamaCare, this is a change-the-game legislative proposal that could not withstand scrutiny….

Thurbert Baker, Attorney General for ACORN

By Mark J. Fitzgibbons

Georgia Attorney General Thurbert Baker has angered Georgia Republicans to the point that some have called for his impeachment. Mr. Baker refuses to join other state attorneys general filing suit challenging the constitutionality of ObamaCare. He’s become the darling of the left by his refusal to file suit.
Based on praise by the liberal media, you’d think that General Baker was the model of fiscal responsibility and restraint on judicial activism.
That bastion of fiscal responsibility, The New York Times, writes that Mr. Baker “has rejected such lawsuits as ‘frivolous’ and ‘a waste of taxpayer money.’”
AlterNet reports on Mr. Baker’s appearance on Rachel Maddow’s MS-NBC conservative smear-show:
“It’s impossible to have a lawsuit where there are no inherent costs,” Baker said. “Every time you are pulling employees away from their appointed duties to file a lawsuit and to engage in this counter-activity, there’s going to be cost. Lawyers don’t work for free, not even lawyers who work in house. So I’m not aware of any way that a lawsuit can be filed, even if we do it in house, where it doesn’t cost the taxpayer some money.”
If only Mr. Baker had been consistent throughout his career. You see, Mr. Baker was given a grade of A from ACORN in 2008 precisely because he is an activist attorney general who spent taxpayer money in pursuit of ACORN’s legislative and judicial agenda. Mr. Baker’s grade of A is shown on page four of ACORN’s report.
ACORN’s highest grades were awarded to attorneys general “pursuing cutting-edge cases.” ACORN’s favorite attorney general did not worry about frivolous cases because “in the near future as more legal theories get tested in different states, there will be additional case law established to provide a guide for attorneys general to take legal action.”
Concern for taxpayer money being spent by an attorney general? That was obviously never a concern to ACORN’s AGs such as Mr. Baker, who were praised for “putting their offices to work for distressed borrowers,” and “devoting additional resources to the issue.”
ACORN knew to rely on activist AGs such as Mr. Baker.
I wonder how much taxpayer money General Baker spent pursuing ACORN’s agenda rather than protecting the Constitution, not to mention the fact that the Obamacare legislation is going to cost the State of Georgia, and every other state, 100′s of millions if not billions more than it will cost the AG to defend his state.
WE HERE IN NEW YORK HAVE A VERY SIMILAR PROBLEM WITH OUR A.G. CUOMO WHO ALSO RECEIVES ACORN’S HIGHEST RATINGS !
BY THE WAY AS YOU CAN SEE, THE GUY ABOVE IS BLACK, AND THE GUY BELOW IS WHITE. WHATS THE DIFFERENCE?

Our fellow Americans, this must be said!

March 29, 2010 Leave a comment

Our fellow Americans, this must be said.

The threats, insults, and acts of violence that may (or may not) be coming from a few rogue individuals associating themselves with the Tea Parties are condemned outright and they are not welcome in our movement. However, what has come from them as individuals is almost nothing, is childs play, compared to that coming from the collective peoples of the Black Panthers and certain others associated with them. Their vitriol is wide spread and comes not from their few, but from their entire movement as it has for years.

The attacks from the black panthers have been astounding. “Call me a N^%*`r and I’ll punch you in the face, knock you down and give you a F%&!*g beating, kick your a$$ bad and bloody”

They call Tea party members “teabaggers and faggots”, saying “they rape little boys with added disgusting and graphic vulgarity”, calling them and all Republicans “scum and things much much worse”

These people respond to words with sticks (billyclubs) and stones (firebombs). Yes words may hate, but they don’t kill. They have forsaken the teachings of their parents, the same lessons we were all tought growing up. They even at times relegate themselves to being the enemies of their own brothers and sisters, with acts of violence and insults calling them Uncle Toms’, and more importantly – things much worse.

Well here’s some news for you Panthers who’s history of violence, intimidation, and hypocrisy is outrageous. We Patriots are the ones who denounce the violence and racism, you are the ones who encourage it, provoke it, bait it, and are more racist than anyone we’ve ever known. You are the racists with your Black Nationalist/Black Power theology, blends of Marxism and Communism, and other treasonous alliances. You are un-Patriotic, you are un-American, and you are such fools in this modern day of opportunity whereby you would forsake it all for Chaos. How ironic you would enslave yourselves to the likes of the Jeremiah Wrights and Louis Farrakahns of the world. May you crouch down and lick those hands that feed and fuel you, may your new self-imposed chains sit lightly upon you, and may the posterity that you have forsaken, forget ye were our countrymen!

Our families that once fought for you, now forget you, and not by our choosing, but by your own. We now can only pray; God, where these despotic animals may bring down themselves, may all the good Black American people of our country, many of whom are our friends and even members of our group, and who do not subscribe to panther ways, be spared from their shame and from the fires of hell they so happily fan!

The bigotry of low expectations in D.C.

Democrats’ favorite method of shutting down debate is to accuse Republicans of secretly promoting racist agendas. Opposing socialized medicine is racist, stopping illegal immigration is racist, and

Two weeks ago, Democrats defunded the Washington Opportunity Scholarship Program, which serves a city that is 54 percent black and 20 percent impoverished. The high school graduation rate is 58 percent, one of the worst in the country, and in 2006, half of the public schools failed to meet basic federal education standards.

The Opportunity Scholarship Program offered poor children a quality education at half the taxpayer expense: $7,500 as opposed to the $14,000 Washington currently spends per student. In response to the Democrats’ decision, former DC councilman Kevin Chavous said, “This successful school voucher program

Substandard education at twice the cost? It makes no sense

There is zero evidence that raising public school teachers’ salaries benefits children, let alone poor children in failing districts. Barack Obama knows this. In his book “The Audacity of Hope,” he recounts a visit to a poor, predominantly black school in Chicago. As he described it, “Their number one issue was this: Because the school district couldn’t afford to keep teachers for a full day, they let out every day at 1:30 in the afternoon. There was no time for students to take science lab or foreign language classes. ‘How come we’re getting shortchanged?’ they asked me.”

Here’s the answer: the average teacher at the school was making $83,000 per year, and over one-quarter were making more than $100,000. They didn’t think they should have to work for any less. With such exorbitant teacher salaries, it’s no wonder the school couldn’t “afford” to stay open.

The Democrats defunded the scholarship program over the objections of DC’s residents, 70 percent of whom support it. But what do the Democrats care? They’ve ensured that teachers’ unions will continue giving millions of dollars to their campaigns. Sasha and Malia Obama, apparently the only black children in DC entitled to a decent education, will still attend Sidwell Friends (annual tuition: $30,842). Meanwhile, public school teachers will be paid $80,000 to leave work at noon, shortchanging their already impoverished students.

Who doesn’t care about black people now?

if you listen to liberal bloggers who wrote endless gasbag analyses of the incidentRep. Joe Wilson yelling “You lie!” during President Obama’s speech on health care was racist. But forcing thousands of black kids to return to substandard public schools is apparently all good.for D.C.’s poorest familieshas allowed more than 3,300 children to attend the best schools they have ever known.”until you realize that Democrats only care about paying off greedy teachers’ unions, not quality education for poor black kids. In March, the National Education Association fired off threatening letters to members of Congress, claiming the voucher program was a “failure.” (This was an ironic accusation from a union whose members can’t get half of DC students to graduate from high school.) The NEA’s solution to failing public schools was the same as always: give teachers more money.
