November 2nd 2010 – The day that successfully launched a new revolution in American politics.
A supporter holds up a bumper sticker at the ...Tea Party calls for fiscal sanity ...
As Michael Reagan, son of President Ronald Reagan, recently opined; his father would be so proud. If he were with us today, no doubt he would be embracing the Tea Party movement and surely would proclaim himself a staunch member. America was previously awakened to the dangers of modern liberalism ie. the creep of socialism aka. the threat of communism and so there was Reagan’s conservative revolution. He did more than any modern day president to re-establish federalist principles, to stop the mounting overreach of the federal government, and to return to Founding intent and Constitutionalism. He would be so proud of the movement today but this movement did not however come without a price. After the great awakening in his day, America eventually went back to sleep. Too many forgot that “the price of liberty is eternal vigilance“. So today having been slapped in the face with the most far left radical president in American history for 2 years now, coupled with the most far left radical leadership in congress for the last 4 years, America has once again awakened. 11/02/2010 made history with a grass roots shift in congress, the likes of which hasn’t been seen since 1938, over a half century ago. So what was once the Reagan Conservative Revolution is now the Tea Party Conservative Revolution, may it never fall asleep again!
